Fall At Your Feet

And so I will fall at your feet.

You the boy I heard tell of from my friends,
The man they had learnt to call brother.

You the fledgling I met, and took to at once,
We the travellers who stalked the wild.

I the Prince, searching for peace,
You the unfound heir, searching for hope.

Her the Maiden you sang of under your breath,
I the friend who counselled you in matters of the heart.

You the man to swing broken blade,
I the elf to let fly piercing arrow.

Him the ring-bearer you swore to protect,
Her the Evenstar you swore to love.

Him the brother you promised not to let down,
I the friend to help keep your oath.

You the leader into the battle,
We the broken Fellowship to follow you.

You the King crowned by silver-white tree,
I the Prince of the Woodland Realm.

You the father who raised your children well,
I the friend who visited whenever chance allowed so.

You the king who took one final breath,
I the elf who watched your true love's heart break.

She the Undomiel who ended in mortal life,
I the elf who watched her leave with shattered soul.

He the dwarf that accompanied me to the water's edge,
I the elf that left the world now nothing else I loved remained.

And so I did fall at your feet.
