Belle sat amidst bubble wrap and used tape. She had finally unpacked all of her stuff into her new apartment. All of it except one box. Pictures was written in black magic marker on the side but Belle knew there was much more than pictures in that box. The entire reason Belle had moved this far away was related to the person in that box. As she leaned back against her couch, she remembered his brown eyes, the way his hair fell on his forehead and the way her heart just seemed to grow whenever she was in arms. They had shared a storybook love until his want to help others surmounted his love for her. He had lied to her. Lied. The word seemed so meaningless now but a few months before it was what had caused her to lose her friend. Friend was another word that bothered her. He wasn't just her friend. He had been the love of her life.
Ding Dong
Her doorbell rang bringing her out of her trip down memory lane. She got up, walked over, and opened the door. As she looked up, she had to stop herself from gasping. There stood the set of brown eyes that she had lost herself in so many times. As she looked at him, he gave her that infamous smile that had made her fall in love with him. She had so many questions on her mind. Most important being, "Why was Shawn Brady in New York standing outside her door at 3am?"
