'Perfect Date'
A/N: So I just thought of what it would be like for Kensi and Deeks to have their first Valentine's Day in their new place. So I hope you guys like it!
They were in their new place sitting on the floor in the living room eating takeout and drinking some wine.
"Deeks this is perfect."
"Really?"
"Yeah. You didn't have to go all out today. I mean sure it's Valentine's Day but… as long as it's just the two of us then it's perfect."
"So you don't want the chocolate truffles I brought you?"
"Oh no! I want the truffles!"
"Well Kensillina what happened to not going over the top?"
"There's always room for truffles Deeks."
She moved closer to him and kissed him softly.
"So we should do this more often shouldn't we?"
"Yeah, I like this. It's nice and romantic at the same time. And it definitely beats going to a crowded restaurant waiting for a table with so many people."
"Yeah especially in California."
"So should we end this date with dessert?"
"You're still hungry after all that takeout we just had?"
She moved closer to him and sat in his lap and wrapped her arms around his shoulders.
"Well I was thinking something more along the lines of burning away the calories and then maybe after we worked up an appetite we can have those truffles?"
"Oh, I like the way you think."
He picked her up and they headed upstairs to their bedroom.
"Definitely, the best Valentine's day ever." She said as they went upstairs.
