Warning: The Revolutionary War is a serious topic. I mention this in the beginning in case of flamers. You've been warned, trolls. BEGIN~!-

Independence.

That was all that a territory ever wanted and needed.

Yet before that, a country must take in this territory

And raise it as its own.

And then comes the rebellious stage.

Like a child, this territory taken in will grow to be rebellious,

To do whatever it takes to go out of these boundaries,

Even if it means war.

And then war comes.

Guns are held into place.

Like a natural adult, they cling on to the child.

They just can't let this part go!

It all starts to turn around.

Role reversal takes its own effect.

They do whatever it takes to keep this territory in its boundaries.

Even if it means war…

But they just can't!

This colony was meant to go out and be free!

It can't be a small territory forever!

So this piece must be set free.

Away from the small boundaries,

Away from the continent,

To set off into greater depths of the new world.

To set off to a new land—

A land called America.

A/N: So, you like it? Sorry that it's super duper urber short! I typed it on my Microsoft Word because the internet was down for a few hours and I was getting a little tired of 3D racing games and Plants V.S Zombies. Meh, that's about all I have right now! So glad I can actually post now~! Until next time, fellow Hetalians~!
