AN: Written for The 2012 Hogwarts Games. I'm going up against Kat Ducat and frankly I doubt I'm going to win with this entry, but I'm damned if I'll go down without a fight.

AN2: Set during book six.

Blaise Zabini took the arm of his date, a tall pretty blonde pure-blood witch by the name of Yvaine Randall who was definitely dressed to impress with her almost-too-revealing top and short skirt, she was certainly an…interesting date. Well, if he was honest, she was just another tart to him, a little distraction from his thoughts.

And they were definitely interesting thoughts indeed. Thoughts that drifted again and again to a certain redhead blood traitor brat who was talking animatedly to her strange friend Luna. He watched for a while as he drank in the way her cute little nose moved about and her very kissable lips that had given him some very interesting dreams involving him kissing her and slowly making her way down his body.

A smirk came to his lips as he remembered his last dream he had about her, it had ended that way. It was a shame that in real life he had to settle for second rate substitutes like his date, who was wittering away blandly about some girl who had apparently claimed she had slept with half of the boys in Slytherin house.

"Of course you've not slept with half the boys in Slytherin house. She's just jealous of the fact that you are a diamond and she is just worthless glass," he said reassuringly as he looked into Yvaine's blue eyes and smiled. Yvaine smiled back, a vapid thing that told him she would reward him for his comment in the bedroom later. Yvaine was easy like that which is why he asked her on a date.

He brought his attention back to Ginny surreptitiously and allowed his eyes to travel up her amazing legs. Her wonderful, long, leggy legs. He had fantasised about running his hands up those wonderful legs and touching her and making her scream his name in pleasure as he took her for himself.

But it was not to be and he knew it. Ginny didn't like him, was a blood-traitor brat to boot. And with her protective brothers, he'd be hard pressed to have the chance to get close. But that didn't stop him desiring her from afar. And fantasising of course. Plenty of fantasising.

"You really should try talking to her," a familiar airy voice said and Blaise turned to see Luna Lovegood looking at him. "You might actually have a chance."

"And why would I talk to a filthy blood-traitor like her for Loony?" he sneered and Luna tilted her head slightly.

"Because you're in love with her," she said and she turned and walked away with Blaise staring at her with a mixture of disbelief and shock.

"What was she talking about Blaise?" Yvaine asked and Blaise shook his head.

"Just Loony talking rubbish as usual," he said as he grabbed her arm and led her into Hogsmeade. As if LOONY Lovegood knew anything! He snapped in his head. AS IF!
