I'm sorry I left and never looked behind. I regret it.
I'm sorry I fell in love with the devil and forgot my past. I'm sorry I turned my back on you and let you die. I'm sorry and I hope you forgive me.
Now I am looking blankly at the starry night sky, waiting… the life's liquid leaving my body and staining the ground below… and I await… for Death to claim my soul… and take me to the deepest of the Nine Levels of Hell.
I close my eyes and fall into a deep slumber from which I would never wake again.
