Okay, well, this is a teensy-weensy little one-shot that is essentially a product of horrible jet lag. Seeing as sleep decided to completely elude me all night, I ended up doing what the bored do when they've got a laptop and wireless internet... I read FML's. I happened to come across one about that Olay body wash with little sparkly bits in it, and boom, this randomness was born. I implore you not to judge.

Sanada stripped quickly and stepped into the hot shower with a contented sigh. Tipping his head back, he let the warm water stream over his face and hair, washing the sweat from his olive skin. Eyes closed, he reached for the soap tray, fumbling slightly in his blindness. After groping around for several moments, he opened one eye, only to see the dish empty. Scowling, he shook the water out of his eyes and peered hopefully down at the shower floor. The soap was nowhere in sight. Groaning, Sanada reached for the shower door handle. Sucking in a deep breath, Sanada all but leapt out of the shower, cringing as his feet hit the cold tile floor. As the cold air snaked around him, he fumbled desperately in the bathroom cupboard, finally producing a bottle of body wash Atobe had given him for Valentine's Day last year. Clutching it in one hand, Sanada made a mad dash for the shower, slipping back into the warmth of the spray with relief. He glanced quickly at the body wash to make sure it wasn't rose scented and/or would turn his skin pink. The bottle said something about 'radiance ribbons,' but seeing as he had absolutely no idea in hell what those were, he opened the bottle and squeezed the gel onto his palm.

"It is far too beautiful out today to spend another minute indoors," Atobe announced, stretching languidly and opening one eye to glance at Sanada, who was reading in a nearby chair.

"Then go outside," he said stonily, his gaze never leaving the pages of his book.

"Come with me, then," Atobe said, rising. As he sauntered past Sanada, he casually plucked the baseball cap from the other boy's head and tossed it toward his bed. "That can stay inside, though."

Sanada frowned and followed Atobe toward the door, casting an apologetic look at his cap, which lay forlornly on the ground feet away from Atobe's indigo-blue duvet.

The sun was particularly bright that day as the pair stepped into Atobe's backyard. As the heat began to seep into his skin, Sanada reached up to undo the top two buttons of his shirt. Atobe gazed at him curiously, an amused smirk playing about his lips.

"Genichiroh, did you change soaps?" he inquired. Sanada shrugged.

"I couldn't find my regular soap this morning, so I used something you gave me."

"I see." Atobe looked as if he were trying to suppress a laugh.

"Is there something wrong with it?" Sanada asked, glancing down at his arms. His eyes widened when, as he slowly turned his palms toward the sun, his entire arm began to sparkle. There was a long, tense pause as Sanada stared continuously at his glittering forearms. Finally, he raised his gaze to Atobe's. "Keigo, what in fuck's name is a 'radiance ribbon?'"

Hahah, poor Sanada. Anyway, I'm starting work on another lengthy piece, so keep your eyes peeled... And in the meantime, anything Tango is always appreciated! :)
