Hi again, everybody! Here's another one! The prompt for this was, "Just put the damn ring on your damn finger and kiss me!" Tee hee. Enjoy.

No one would have ever suspected it. It was totally unbelievable, unacceptable, unrealistic, and everything that was impossible. And that was the genius of it. No one would ever stop to think that it could be done.
That's why he did it.
It was a normal day, boring and caseless, and the ducklings were in the board room. Oddly enough, each of them were contemplating why it was called the board room, when it was sometimes most alive with action. But not today.
Cameron got up to make a pot of coffee, discreetly checking her watch. House would be there in fifteen minutes, just as the pot of coffee would be finishing. God forbid it finished after he arrived...
House arrived exactly fifteen minutes later, one hand on his cane and the other stuffed into his pocket. He stepped into the room, inhaled deeply, and smiled. "Ah, my favorite little minion has finished her training!"
She smiled to herself as she picked up his favorite mug and poured the coffee into it, then offered it to him.
He took the mug from her, but as she turned away, he held out his closed fist. "For your trouble," he said regally, and she raised an eyebrow.
Chase and Foreman both leaned in, intrigued.
She glared at them, then held out her open hand, her mouth falling open as he dropped a diamond ring into it.
Foreman had to pick himself up off of the floor, while Chase scraped himself off of the ceiling.
Cameron studied the diamond ring in the palm of her hand. It was understated, but beautiful. Exactly what she would expect from him. She looked up at him, her eyes shining.
A smile tugged at his handsome mouth. "Well?"
"I, uh..."
"Say yes already, Cameron!" someone shouted, and she whipped her head around. Outside of the room, it seemed that the entire hospital had heard and was now milled around the meeting room.
Wilson was at the front of the crowd, his arms over his chest and a smug smile on his face. He knew that if he told Kathy in the nurse's station, the word would spread like wildfire. And it had...
A tear escaped Cameron's eye, and she sniffled quietly.
"Just put the damn ring on your damn finger and kiss me!" House demanded, his eyes gleaming.
She chuckled and slid the ring onto her finger, then leaned up on her tiptoes and threw her arms around his neck, kissing him deeply.
There was an explosion of laughter, clapping and hooting as they kissed, and House had the sense to reach over and pull the blinds shut before he drew her back into his arms.
The End!
A/N: What'd ya'll think? I thought the proposal was pretty House. And of course everyone would be like, "He's PROPOSING? MUST SEE!" Hehehe. Hope ya'll enjoyed that, and please remember to review!
