The sound of the opening door of the greenhouse pulled Will off his work. Turning around, he saw his psychiatrist Hannibal entering in his botany sanctuary.
-So, this is where you hide, Will
Will abandonned the plant he was cutting to welcome his visitor.
-Well, , you've just discovered my secret garden!, answered Will, smiling.
-I didn't know that you like botany.
-It's a passion I have since I am young, but only a few knows.
-What's the project you're currently working on?, asked Hannibal, looking at the rows of plants meanwhile.
-I've tried to combine human and plant genes to create humanoid plants. But…my experience haven't succeed except for…
That is when something pulled the bottom of the psychiatrist's trousers. He looked down and saw a little baby crawling near him. The baby looked human, but he had pale green skin and greyish blue hair, with leaves in it. The tiny creature was dressed in a green pajama with red flowers on it. Hannibal carefully picked up the baby by its arpits and lifted him so he can look at him straight in his eyes. The baby had huge eyes with dark brown with redish reflects iris.
-Who is that little guy?, asked Hannibal to the baby in his softest and kindest voice.
-His name is… it's Hannibal Jr., replied Will, his cheek blushing.
Why that name? said the psychiatrist looking at Will with a flirty smile.
-I…well…I've combined your DNA that I took from a strand of your hair to a plant of roses. Hannibal Jr. was the only one to survive my experiences.
The head of Hannibal Jr. was now resting on Hannbal's chest. In the heat of Hannibal's arms, the baby was falling asleep.
-I think he likes you, noticed Will to Hannibal, pointing at the baby, now sleeping.
