Lucas sat in the café staring down at his coffee a million thoughts going three his mind .
Did she live …..
Did she die…….
He stood up to leave putting down some money for the coffee and walked out the door.
As he walked down the street he stared up watching the street light that were still lit there was to be a lot of work to be down on the town after the attack . Crushed buildings streets ripped apart so much damage .
As he turned the corner he looked up and his eyes lit up the light was on and he let out a smile.
He walked no ran up the stairs to the apartment and then stopped catching his breath looking up at the wooden door …
He put his hand up ready to knock ….
