Things I'll Never Say - Joley One-shot
Miley's
POV
It
was just a group gathering, nothing special. Then why was I so
nervous? Why was I arguing with myself about what to wear?
'Cause
I know you're worth it.
Best friends since diapers. Now, we're in
college together. I've loved you the whole way through.
Finally,
the time came, I got to see you. We hugged, as always, but I might've
squeezed too tight...
When I tried to greet you, my tongue was
tied.
"What was that, Miley?" you asked.
"Oh,
just trying to say hi, Joey" I smiled nervously.
Joe's
POVI
love her to much to tell her. I can't tell her I have to move
next week across the country, we'll both be crushed. Maybe not the
same way...
I'm in
love with her, she loves me as a best friend.
-the next week-
No
One's POV
"Where
are you going, Joe?" Miley asked.
"Oh, I'm going to
California..." He looked down as he told her.
"How long
have you known about this?!" She screamed at the top of her
lungs while almost in tears.
"For 3 months..." He
replied sadly.
"So you were planning on leaving without even
telling me and--" she was cut off in her tantrum by a kiss from
the love of her life.
"I'll miss you. I'll always love you."
Joe said as he followed his dad into the car.
Miley grabbed onto
Joe's coat and pulled him back, but it was no use, he was too
strong.
Although Joe was extremely strong, Miley's love was stronger than Joe's muscles. The next day, she found out where he was and she flew all the way to California from New York the next year. Sadly, that was the next flight, a year later.
She scoured the city in search of him, but he was nowhere to be found. She gave up, she was going home. She decided to grab a cup of coffee on her way back to the airport.
"One large cappuccino to
go..." She requested sadly to the man with his back turned to
the counter.
As he was turning around he asked, "That'll be
three dollars and--" He stared at Miley in shock.
"Joe?!"
she yelled in shock.
They caught up and told each other what
they'd been doing for the past year.
Joe was hypnotized in Miley's
blue, beautiful eyes.
An hour later, after six more coffees each
and hundreds of laughs, Joe did something completely unexpected.
If
I could say what I want to see,
I
want to see you go down on one knee,
Marry
me today;
Guess
I'm wishing my life away,
With
these things I'll never say
They
got married that same day.
If you don't say what you want to say,
you might end up losing the love of your life for a long time.
They
were lucky, they saw each other again, some people aren't as lucky,
so don't hide your true feelings.
