"Let's go strawberry picking," Hikaru said suddenly, startling the Host Club.
"Yes! We can be like commoners who can't afford to have another people pick their food!" Tamaki jumped up and glomped Haruhi, "Let's go!"
They all jumped into a limo, with the exception of Haruhi and Kyouya. Kyouya was pulled along like a dog owner whose dog is pulling on a leash by Tamaki, and Haruhi was dragged by Hani.
They pulled up to a large, luxurious strawberry field. There were many ornately designed gazebos, pale pink and blue. The plants were overgrown with strawberries, and dotted the green field with red.
Tamaki and Kyouya both grabbed baskets, and with Kyouya grumbling headed off into the field. Hani skipped, with Mori following him with both baskets in hand. Hikaru pulled Haruhi's hand, his eyes sparkling.
"Come on, Haruhi! Let's go," Hikaru ran off with Haruhi, leaving Kaoru all by himself. He sadly grabbed a basket and headed out, sulking a bit.
Nekozawa wandered through the field, humming a tune softly. He had to stop under the gazebos frequently, seeing as he was out in the sun in a black robe. He thought it was all worth it. Anything was worth getting closer to his sister. And she absolutely adored strawberries.
Kaoru heard a soft humming sound and his head whipped up from the plant. He looked around curiously until he found the source. It was... Nekozawa? He was smiling softly to himself, humming a cute little tune.
"Nekozawa? What are you doing here?" Kaoru asked quietly.
"Hmm?" He looked up, "Oh, hi Kaoru. I'm picking strawberries for Kirimi." He smiled at Kaoru, "What are you doing?"
"Oh, I just got dragged here by, uh, Tono-- I mean Tamaki," Kaoru finished quickly, blushing a bit.
Nekozawa was smart, and unlike Tamaki, wasn't dense. But, Kaoru? "Kaoru," Nekozawa smirked, "are you blushing?"
"N-no. I mean, maybe," Kaoru looked around, no one else was around.
"Hey, do you like strawberries?" Nekozawa asked.
"Yeah, why?" Kaoru seemed surprised by both the question and the change of subject.
"Want one?" Nekozawa asked, appearing innocent. He was pulling off the little green top of one of the berries.
"Umm, sure," Kaoru said, a little confused.
"Open up," Nekozawa said and popped a strawberry into Kaoru's mouth. Kaoru blushed vibrantly, but smiled as he ate it.
Kaoru recovered quickly however. He put a strawberry halfway into his mouth and winked at Nekozawa. Nekozawa smirked, and tilted his head. He slowly bit the strawberry, and kissed Kaoru before pulling away to eat his half.
Holding hands, both blushing and beaming, they walked over to a gazebo to continue eating their strawberries.
