The obnoxious sound of a bell ringing loudly resonates throughout the empty school corridors. A mob of students flow out of the doors, lockers slamming as they are shut with slight aggression, the squeaking of shoes signifying that the students are all trying to push through the front doors. In an average sized classroom, with desks lined in rows, sat a girl with big, round, shining brown eyes and hair with a color resembling chocolate, deep in thought. "Hey, Yumi!", the shout came from a petite blonde girl with eyes sparkling blue like the ocean. Yumi turns her head to face her best friend, who stood in the doorway of the said classroom. Before Yumi can respond, her friend pulls a flier out from her bag and holds it up so that Yumi can read what it says

No! There is not a single way to get me to go to that place! Yumi thought yelled in her head.
Kill me! Kill. Me. Now!, she thought, How in the world did I end up here? Oh, that's right...I don't know how, actually no, I do know, I just don't want to remember. Now here she was, in the middle of some convention, surrounded by hundreds of people in cosplay. "Look! Look!" Yumi's friend yells while pointing at something above. She takes Yumi by the hand and drags her off to who knows where. When they arrived at a booth they both look up to see a sign. Oh. My. God!, the sign read "Kaichou Wa Maid-sama".
"Come on say it~ Who is your favorite person in the world!?" the blonde girl says while smiling.
"I can't believe it, you brought me here because of this! You're the absolute best!" Yumi squeals with delight.
"I know. Now, go on, buy something! I'm going to be over there, so meet me at the entrance when you're done."
Finally, I made it to the front! A sigh of relief escapes from the young girl's lips. "Excuse me, I'd like to buy the newest volume you have." She says to the person running the booth.
"Sure, that'll be $35.95. But be careful when you read these, you wouldn't want to get too invested in them" she replies. She can't be serious, be careful while reading? Yumi thought.
"Hey! You ready to go?" her friend asks.
"Yeah, but the person at the booth told me to be careful when I read these," Yumi replies as she held up her newly bought book.
"Ooh...beware the books. Hahahahahahaha, funny it was most likely a joke."
Yeah..I'm worrying over nothing, it's just a joke...right? At least, that's what Yumi thought...no, she had hoped that it was just a joke, but how long will she hope before facing the inevitable reality? The minute she got home she began to read until she fell into a deep sleep.
