Ianto sighed. He didn't really understand how the archives could get as dusty as they did. And it wasn't like they weren't cleaned regularly. They did. Ianto knew because, it was always he who had to do it.

He sighed yet again as he fiddled with a duster, avoiding damaging some sort of ancient alien relic that Ianto had long forgotten the purpose of. Ever so carefully, he dusted along ever crack and engraved rune – rolling his eyes at how pedantic he was being.

"How's that going for ya?" The annoyingly familiar and suave American accent glided through the air before Ianto heard it and his heart suddenly skipped a beat in his chest.

"Sir I- Erm, fine sir. Yes, fine…" Ianto coughed nervously to clear his throat, and hastily returned to cleaning the relic – that the more Ianto looked at it, began to look more and more like a Llama.

Ianto wouldn't mention it aloud, but he was rather fond of the American currently stood in the doorway to the archives. He was also rather annoyed by the funny little skip his heart would do every time he saw him, heard him or was brought up in conversation.

"Are you sure?" Jack chuckled softly, a hint of concern in his voice. "You don't sound it."

Ianto's heart skipped yet another beat – and he began to wonder if this was good for his health. It wasn't like Ianto was gay by any means. It was just – him.

And things were rather odd at the moment, they weren't official, but they certainly couldn't be classed as just friends anymore. After all, not many friends did the types of thing they did together.

Jack was now behind Ianto, his arms wrapped around the Welshman's waist.

"The archives waited a few weeks to be cleaned, I think it can wait a little longer." Jack nuzzled into the crook of Ianto's neck and lightly kissed the exposed flesh. And that's when it hit Ianto. Hit Ianto harder than a rabid Weevil.

"I love you."

Jack blinked for a moment, taking a minute to process what Ianto had suddenly blurted out. Then he smiled, and turned Ianto to face him.

"Well great, because I just happen to love you too."

And before Ianto's heart to collapse in on itself from the endorphins, his pressed his lips against Jack's – not giving a damn about the ancient alien Llama artefact anymore.
