So I've been poking my nose through a few fics where Montgomery has a small part and then thought about writing a story about what happens to him after the Clubsplosion. I don't own pokemon!
It was a beautiful day in Castelia City in the Unova region. A young trainer was in a hotel room with a Throh beside him. That trainer's name is Montgomery. He was the former champion of the Clubsplosion when another trainer named Stephan defeated him with his Sawk. Now putting that loss behind him he was back in the place where he was born deciding what to do next.
A tap on his arm snapped him out his thoughts and he noticed Throh standing beside him with an expectant look on his face with Dieno standing beside him poking his arm with it's horn. Montgomery smiled and petted both of the Pokemon on their heads. He loved them so much. If only he could find something to do that included them. Well there was that school his parents suggested him to go to...
"Throh Dieno how would you both like to come with me to the Pokémon Private Battling Academy in the Kalos region?' He asked to the duo of pokemon.
"You're finally going to apply there?' Throh asked in shock. Montgomery nodded knowing that he understood pokemon but kept it as a secret.
"Yes that's what we're going to do next." He stated as he opened up his bag and pulled out an application form.
As he began to fill it out Montgomery prayed that he would get accepted in.
