Right. Still trying to figure out spacing stuff, but we'll just see how this goes. Oh yeah. And it's really short. I've got another piece I could add, but it's kind of angsty, so I dunno if I want to add it.
Ice Skating Adventures
Hermione Granger was crying.
It had been a while since she had laughed this hard.
"Hey now! It's not that funny!" came Ron's indignant voice from where he was sitting, on one of the many benches.
Harry snorted, "Of course not. It's bloody hilarious!"
Hermione took a deep breath, smothered her giggles, and turned to help Harry, who was trying to pull off Ron's stuck ice skate.
One glance, however, and she dissolved into laughter again. Ron was sitting on the bench, bracing himself against it and holding on as tightly as possible, while Harry had a hold of the ice skate, and was pulling as hard as he could.
"Alright Hermione, get a grip." Harry grunted, falling backwards a couple of steps as he accidentily pulled Ron of the bench.
Ron hoisted himself back onto the bench. "Bloody hell! That's gonna leave a mark."
Hermione smirked and glanced at the rental counter. The man in charge was staring at them, half-disbelieving, half- amused.
"You might have better luck if you kids loosened those skates."
Harry and Hermione stared at Ron.
"You. Didn't. Loosen. The. SKATES?!" Hermione demanded, not feeling much pity for him.
"I did too!" Ron protested, looking put out.
Harry silently reached over and pulled the laces looser. The skate slid off Ron's foot, and landed on the ground.
"…Whatever." Ron grumbled, as Harry pulled off the other skate. Ron picked up the skates and limped over to the counter. The man looked as though it was taking all his self control not to laugh.
"I'd like a size bigger." Ron muttered, glaring at the man.
Hermione snickered, "Can you tell his teacher was too nice to fail him in kindergarten?"
"More like preschool." The man smirked, handing Ron the new skates.
Harry and Hermione dissolved into laughter while Ron glared, not understanding the Muggle terms, but understanding it was an insult.
Ron hobbled over to the bench and sat down, examining his ankle.
"Ouch, that looks kind of swollen," Hermione noted, when she finally stopped laughing, " I suppose pulling on it for 10 minutes probably didn't do any good."
Ron pointedly ignored her, and began to put on his new skates. As he started to tie the laces, a voice interuppted, "Want some help tightening those?" Harry asked, mostly concealing his smirk.
"Here, I'll grab this one, and Hermione, you grab the other one." Harry said, taking on of the laces.
"Alright, now on three, pull."
"Harry, are-"
"One"
"-you sure this-"
"Two."
"-is"
"Three!" Harry pulled on the lace, and Hermione, having trouble balancing on her skates, fell over.
"-a good idea?" She finished, glaring at Harry. Ron snorted, and Hermione switched to glaring at Ron.
Ron burst out laughing. Hermione muttered something that sounded suscpiciously like "failing preschool", and Ron immediately stopped laughing.
"Whatever. Let's go skate." Ron stalked off towards the rink, trying not to trip on his skates, muttering darkly,"If either of you mention this to anyone…"
As they walked away, Hermione glanced over her shoulder. The man at the counter shook his head incredulously, and went back to polishing a pair of ice skates.

Yay. Reviews rock. Even one word reviews are amazing, especially if it's some random word that like no one has heard of.
