Hello to you random stranger, I want to thank you for taking the plunge with me into the unknown; you are a truly brave soul. I have never done anything like this before so feel free to let me know what you think. Good, Bad, God awful. Anyways thanks again! -PT

Dear Journal,

Have you ever been in a situation where you feel as if no one seems to notice your presence? I have. That situation is called my life…My name is Hugo. H-U-G-O, not an especially long or hard name to pronounce and yet no one can seem to remember it. I'm always just 'That Weasley kid' you know 'The one with the red hair.' Really? Spoiler alert…WE ALL HAVE RED HAIR! Okay, not ALL but a fairly good proportion. My family is rather large…okay scratch that my family is absolutely MASSIVE! It does make sense how someone can become overwhelmed with 6 uncles, 4 aunts and 13 cousins (including Teddy). I suppose on occasion it's alright to simply be 'another Weasley.' I often feel as if all the interesting traits and characteristics have already been snatched by my grubby fingered cousins.

There is Victoire who obviously got the beauty; even if she is lacking in the IQ department.

Next is Molly the ridiculously smart one, she got the brains (she must have stolen Victoire's.) She can be quite the bloody know-it-all.

Roxanne got the likeability same with Teddy, it almost wants to make you gag at how nice they are. They always seem to have a crowd around them, like buzzards to a dead possum.

James and Fred got the ability to make anyone laugh even if the prank they just pulled was on you, you still can't help but chuckle.

Louis got the unimpressed, mysterious bookworm. He always seems to have some trollop or another throwing herself at him…to be honest I think he's a bit fruity.

Dominique the loudmouth, say-it-how-it-is Slytherin she always seems to know exactly how to piss off anyone in hexing distance.

Lucy was gifted with the insane quidditch ability. I'm serious have you seen that girl hit a quaffle? It's bloody scary.

Albus and Rose 'the dynamic duo', practically attached at the hip along with that strange Malfoy boy.

Even my once closest confident Lily is beginning to become her own person, we were practically inseparable before the sorting but now that she's become a Slytherin she seems to become more and more like Dominique each day.

So what does that leave for me? The invisible Hufflepuff? NOTHING, that's what! Yes…that's right I am a Hufflepuff, go ahead poke your fun. It doesn't help that the only other cousin in that house is Victoire who I deeply adore but am quite sure has the same intelligence level as a spoon I me-

"Oi plonker!"

He looked up startled to see Rose standing in the doorframe.

"Mum says supper is ready"

He sighed, Rose turned to leave but before the door closed she stuck her head back through.

"I almost forgot Grandma Molly needs you to come over tomorrow morning and degnome the garden, she says you're the only one who does it properly."

He continued to stare at the door that had just closed before a smile overtook his face. He reached for his journal one more.

Perhaps I may survive another day being a Weasley…perhaps it's not so bad after all…

Yours,

Hugo Weasley
