And I'm pretty sure it snows in London.

A fanfic by: larrythestapler

It had no snowed in London for over eight years. The prophecy foresighted by a famous seer said: The Dark Lord arises to his greatest power to bring obscurity, but dies when the snow of winter falls down. Only five people knew this secret. Only five.

"It'll be safe to come back when it snows again. Come back when it snows again. Now you have to go. It's too dangerous." He said impassively. He could not show any emotion; all of his emotions were condensed within him, and his outer self only showed apathy. The sky was murky, only lit up by the pale moon and a few stars. Harry pushed his glasses up. His current demeanor was stiff and indifferent, making his companion tearful and uneasy.

'Huh-h? W-W-why when it snows again?" a black-haired girl said with a look of confusion on her face.

"It is what's safe. " Harry said coldly.

"Then I'll come back when it snows," replied Cho firmly through her tears. "when it snows again." Emotion swelled her eyes and his presence only added distress. Cho Chang had to leave London, for the Dark Lord was exterminating all those who were Muggleborns there. She had to go in hiding. It was dangerous for her even now to walk upon this Muggle park, talking to her companion. London had become obscure and filled with dark arts. The oppression began a few years ago, when Voldemort rose to the acme of his power. Being outside was very dangerous; let alone being out at night. And she had to leave very soon. Cho bit her lip and tried her best to hold her tears back.

"Tears won't change the situation. You have to go, I beseech you for your own well-being." Harry said. He gazed up at the stars.

"B-b-but you're the one V-v-voldemort waa-aa-nts the most. It's not safe for you!" Cho trembled.

"I'll be alright. And besides, I kept a promise to the Order and I have to help defeat Voldemort." The apathy was drifting; Harry's luminous green eyes showed fear and anger. Cho clutched onto his sleeve and cried. Her face was stained and untidy. She wore a shabby coat and a turquoise scarf. On her back was a bag filled with random knickknacks for her long journey out of London.

"W-what if you don't make it?" she cried.

"Don't worry. See the stars? That's how you'll remember me. Although you won't see me, have hope when you gaze at a starry night." Harry pointed at the sky. "As long as the stars remain there, I'm not really gone. Remember." He gave her a grim smile. Cho was somewhat comforted by the words he spoke. She wiped the tears from her face. For a few seconds, she blankly stared at the starlit sky, as a rush of nostalgia rushed down her spine. And it was that moment that all their hopes, dreams, and love, was limited to the unfathomable universe.

Finished.
