(A/N) This was all pretty rushed and unstable, but I really wanted to write something about Alice + Jasper. It's short, but hopefully sweet!

On this night, the moon was not full. Though it had been complete for a while now, today there was a piece missing. Stars surrounded the almost-perfect-circle, close enough to see, but not to touch. And on this night, among busy bugs and the stealthy spiders that crept through the fields, there lay a small girl. Almost a woman, crying out in agony as she had been for the last three days. But that would continue no longer, for this was the blissful end that would start a tricky beginning.

When the bright red eyes of the girl opened, they did not see the scene infront of them. Instead they saw a face:

Strong, pale, handsome. Honey-like hair framing the red eyes.

Mary Alice Brandon had always been good with foreboding. But now her instincts were not telling her run from the unexpected image. Instead they told her to follow it.

Another image flashed through her mind:

A small, rundown building sitting on the edge of a busy road on a stormy day.

Knowing where destiny could take her if she left herself in the hands of fate, Alice made her decision. Instead of taking the path that had been planned: becoming a savage, drinking all the blood she could find, she would take her own route. One that would not lead to a sunset on a beautiful beach, but instead to a greasy, southern diner and also, Jasper.

(A/N) Yeah, yeah, I know. I suck at writing quick, short stuff. Feel free to disagree! Please review, I love opening up my email to find new messages! It makes me feel loved!
