Author's Note: This is after the "Falling to You" fic. It isn't a series, just a small bit on what happens. It is taken a couple months after "Falling to You" and Sora and Tai are still sixteen years old. The song is the ending song from Sailor Stars. I do not own Digimon or the song.
Disappearing into a crowd
I waved my hand to your turned back
Until yesterday, this is all seemed like it wasn't true
Sora Takenouchi sat on the bench in the park. It was a couple weeks after the New Year and Christmas. The snow on the ground was light and small and the air stung at her face. Everything happened so fast. It still confused her. She thought back to the times she and Tai were together.
Laughing so hard I cried
When we join hands and I gaze into your eyes
Always your fragrance so faintly
Tears at the strings of my heart
She let the tears flow freely, not trying to hold them in. She had fought so long to keep her feelings inside her so no one could see what she was feeling. She would be the only hurting by Tai's rudeness and by keeping the feelings she held bottled up inside her heart, she would keep others out of this.
Even though we've acted selfishly, and we've had petty arguments
I never thought the day we couldn't be together would ever come for us
She stood up, snow was gently falling around her. She closed her eyes, wishing that this was all a dream and that she would wake up and that she and Tai would always be together. That no one could ever come between them again. That they would stay, holding each other after the awful fights that they had. She opened her eyes and breathed in the chilly air.
That day, after it, I'm running
When we can open all our feelings up to each other
The wind, the sky, still
Wrapped around us, alone together
Sora saw Tai walking up together. "He is back to apologize. I don't but I do want to forgive him." Sora thought to herself. He put his hand on her shoulder, her eyes focused ahead of her, not daring to look at him, afraid her feelings will come loose. She winced at his touch and he removed his hand.
When I think about our tomorrow
And facing up to our true feelings
Surely somewhere we will keep on this small
Path, walking on ahead
Sora turned around, her hair blowing in the wind. Tai's face looked so sweet and sad. She takes a deep breath, gathering her courage to say this, "I hate you." His face, know like it had been slapped, his eyes, filled with tears. He stepped backwards and stared into her eyes. They told him the same thing. "Why did he have to go back to her?" Sora thought.
Now I am all by myself
Tied to the night, wanting to be with you
All my lines of words, now they just do not reach you anymore
Tai's eyes filled with tears, knowing what she had said was true in many ways. He turned around and walked, half ran, away from the place. Sora fell onto her knees in the snow, knowing she had hurt him but her heart didn't seem to care anymore. She remembered all of the times together.
That day, we were in each other's arms
That defined our happiness, do not forget

The wind started ferociously and whipped snow all around Sora. The coldness numbed her heart as she continued to cry. Her tears being blown off by the wind. The sky had darkened and the night was cold with the wind that seemed to only blow around her. She stood up and looked through the snow, trying to heal herself from this hurting she endured.

I will not forget the depth of your eyes
The wind, the sky, surely
