Lynn ~ A poem about when Inu-Yasha turns human. I don't own Inu-Yasha and I
never will, so you can't sue me because I'll just sue you right back.

The night is dark,
The moon is gone
I sit alone in a barren tree
Thinking thoughts only known to me
My hair usually silver white,
Is now as black as the cold night
My eyes always a shocking yellow,
Are now as dark as the next fellow
Steel claws that were on my hand,
Are now replaced by fingers so bland
My dog-ears, so keen to noise,
Are now as useful as a little boys
I wonder what will happen on that horrid day
When the evil comes and takes her away?
When I have transformed, ever weak
And she has no protection to seek
I cry sometimes in the dark of night
For this is my pain,
My worry,
My fright
Will I ever be enough?
That one single question is tough
.
.
.
I am only a half
.
.
.
For I belong to neither one world nor the other
Neither demon nor human,
But half a creature,
Half a heart,
Half a soul
The night is dark,
The moon is gone
I sit alone in a barren tree
Thinking thoughts only known to me
My hair usually silver white,
Is now as black as the cold night
My eyes always a shocking yellow,
Are now as dark as the next fellow
Steel claws that were on my hand,
Are now replaced by fingers so bland
My dog-ears, so keen to noise,
Are now as useful as a little boys
I wonder what will happen on that horrid day
When the evil comes and takes her away?
When I have transformed, ever weak
And she has no protection to seek
I cry sometimes in the dark of night
For this is my pain,
My worry,
My fright
Will I ever be enough?
That one single question is tough
