Dart sat quietly on the cliff of a mountain, the moon reflecting in his eyes as he looked down on the forest below. He watched carefully for any sign of movement below, not wanting anyone to come and surprise him. His vision casually switched in between the forest and the village below. Torches we're lit below, and love music was playing.

There was no one with him, even though Lavitz had said he'd have a beer with Dart later. Dart dropped his sword behind him, right into a rock before sitting down. His thoughts weren't quite straight. And he kept blaming it on the adventure several nights before. The Dragoon of The Red Eye Dragon in love, ha, he kept telling himself.

In a move he thought was quite foolish, he had told Rose how he had felt about her. He'd skipped to the north side of the spot. He did it on purpose, to avoid every one, to be with people he didn't know. Except he managed to bump into Lavitz on the way. He heard footsteps behind him. He turned his head, looking behind him at a young dark haired woman. Rose.

"Why'd you follow me?" He asked in a low sincere voice, hiding his tears of joy and the tears of pain, the joy of seeing her again, and the tears of pain from leaving her. He hadn't gone a day without thinking of her, and he regretted it. But he had to express his feelings, and telling someone then leaving wasn't his idea of expression.

Rose smiled gently before putting both her hands around the back of his neck, her face only an inch from his. She was close enough for him to smell her perfume. Both of them gazing in each other's eyes, bathed in the moonlight. "For this" She whispered into his ear gently, her blow making him a small bit excited before she placed her lips against his. And it went on till the end of the festival.
