The Legend of Zelda: Cinderella

There was once a young boy named Link. He lived with his stepfather, and two stepbrothers. Link's stepbrothers were very mean to him, they laughed at the way he was dressed, and they made him do all the work. One day Link was raking the leaves that had started falling when it had turned fall. When the mail man walked up. "A letter for Link's stepfather!" He shouted, waving the letter in the air. Link's stepfather came over and snatched it out of the mail mans hand. It read:

The Princess is to throw a ball tomorrow, she will also choose who she wishes to marry afterwards.

"Link's stepbrothers!" Their father called. And soon they came running over. "Yes, father?" They asked. "Get ready, there is to be a ball tomorrow, and the princess is to choose who she shall marry!" (The stepbrothers giggled with joy...kidding.) "Stepfather, can I come too?" Link asked. "You? Why? The princess won't marry with you!" Said stepbrother 1. "Yeah! She wont fall in love with a boy who wears a dress!" Said stepbrother 2. Link jumped at him and started punching him. "Its not a dress, its a tunic!" He yelled. Then his stepfather took Link upstairs. "Please let me go to the ball!" Link begged. "Fine, but only if you can clean everything up, and get something nice to wear." Then his stepfather walked away.

The next day Link's stepfather and Link's stepbrothers had him doing everything, and when it was time to leave, Link was not ready. "You'll have to simply stay here." Said his stepfather before walking out the door. "Nnnnoooooooooooo!" Link screamed. Then he ran outside, and after some time decided that his tunic wasn't that messy, and if the princess loved him, then it shouldn't matter what he looked like. And that's beside the point, Link just wanted to go to the ball, it didn't matter if the princess didn't fall in love with him. So, he went to the ball and sat at a table and had some punch. And a little while later, a person in a jumpsuit and a mask came over. "Hey, this is boring, huh?" She or he said, leaning up against the table. "Well, its better than having to clean up everything in a huge house!" Link said as he took another sip of his punch. "Yeah, and better than sitting at a meeting all day long." Said the masked person.

They talked on and on, and soon, Link realized that it was the princess in disguise. Princess Zelda.

Later that night Link heard the clock bells, and when he looked up to see the time, he saw that it was twelve. His stepfather and his stepbrothers would get home soon, and Link didn't want them to know that he had came, or his father would scold him. So he ran home without looking back, leaving Zelda standing there.

They didn't seem to know he had left, but the next day, the masked person arrived. "I've looked all over the town for the one the princess fell in love with." She said to Link's stepfather. "But I haven't found him yet. May I speak with all of your sons?" "Of course!" Said Link's stepfather. The masked person looked at them both, then shook her head. "Do you have any other sons?" She asked, but Link's stepfather shook his head. "Don't I count as your stepson at least?" Link asked as he stepped into the room. "Go back to your room!" Link's stepfather demanded. But the masked person took off her mask, revealing her beautiful face, and revealing that she was the princess, then ran to Link and grabbed his hand and ran off to the chariot. Then they rode away.

And so Link and Zelda got married. And Link's stepfather was put into a dungeon for lying to the princess. Leaving Link's stepbrothers to work for themselves. And so the nice people lived happily ever after, and the mean ones got their just deserts served to them on a gold platter.
