Seven Short Days
Hedwig sighed. Everyday she spent without Severus Snape took a piece of her heart out and smashed it. What was the point of love anyway? Why would anyone want to love if it hurt so much? She knew the answers to these questions. Because love is one of the greatest things one will ever experience. Hedwig slowly rolled out of the bed and hit the cold, wood floor. Hedwig then proceeded to get dressed and head off to the Order meeting.
Sirius groaned into his hands. His newest girlfriend just broke up with him. Why should I care? He thought. He was the biggest lady's man ever. But he wanted more. He wanted to find true love. He wanted to become united with one person for the rest of his life. The only question is how? How can he love if no one ever showed him true love in its fullest? He was tired of waiting for true love to find him. He was going to find true love. And with this, he apparated to the Order meeting.
Well, as you know, they met each other and fell in love. O.K., it wasn't that simple. They both had to deal with their pasts. Hedwig concluded that even though she still loves Severus, she loved Sirius too. Sirius decided that he has met love before Hedwig and wants to give all his love to Hedwig.
And all this happened in seven short days. During these seven days I was recovering for the full moon. I had no idea how suddenly Severus's girl because Sirius's. Now I do, and it gives me hope. That love is found in the least likely places.
