Big Nate: The Past Is Back

Jenny joined the cartooning club, and the cartooning club was horrible for Nate. After the cartooning club meeting was over Nate was on his way to home. Then he realized a new store called "Time Machines". Nate used the allowance that he saved up, and bought a " time machine".

Chapter 1

(This from Nate's perspective.)

3...2...1... It's time to go to cartooning club! I shoot out of the door, meet Francis and Teddy and head for the art room. We're all so excited because a new doodler is coming! We don't know who's coming yet, but I'll welcome anyone only if it's not... GINA! We're all waiting for Mr. Rosa to come with the new doodler, but it seems though everyone's really curious except for Artur. I'm just starring at him curiosity. Then the door slowly opens at first I couldn't recognize who it was because the person's hair was in the way.

Then I saw her face, and it was Jenny! I was shocked (in a good way). I started to imagine how close I can get to her, but there was only one problem. Artur was a doodler too,and they're the "hottest couple" in the school. "Dramatic Flashback" When Jenny was just about to fall for me Artur moved in, and they became "love birds" since.(end of" Dramatic Flashback"). All I wanted was to be with Jenny, but Mr. Lucky just had to but in!

We started to doodle, and the "couple" started to giggle. They were drawing cartoons about each other (so obnoxious)! Finally the worst doodlers meeting ended. Teddy, Francis, and I headed home. Then I spotted this new shop called " Time Machines ". I told Francis and Teddy to go first, and I headed to the store.
