Worth the Risk...

He looked down at her lips, his fingers crunching the bag of blue ranch chips in front of him. Danny could feel himself fall in her eyes – her big brown eyes that looked into his own.

She moved away, clearing her throat. Of course, the awkwardness of the moment had to be present. Smiling, Lacey grabbed the bag of chips from him again, and broke his piercing gaze as he stood up to go somewhere.

"Danny," she said softly, resisting the urge to run towards the closet where he was standing.

"Hmm?" she heard from the closet, where he was supposedly changing his shirt. God, shirtless? Probably heaven. But, when she heard another 'what' from the other end of the room, she snapped herself out of her trance. Stop thinking about him, Lacey. Just tell him you're leaving and step out of the house. It's not a big deal.

Danny stepped out of the closet area, running a hand through his hair. She stared at him, cursing herself on the inside. Lacey! Tell him you have to go. His hair, his eyes, that smirk.

"Umm, Danny," she said, preparing herself, "I finished the chips." What the hell? Okay, that's not what you were supposed to say.

"You want more?" he said, raising one of his eyebrows, and bringing the end of his lips to a smile, "Cause, you know, I've got some in my pantry downstairs."

"Umm, no," she said too quickly, "it's fine. Thanks."

"Sure," he said, plopping himself next to her again.

Ugh. This is gonna be a long night.

She smiled as he took her head in his hands and brought her lips to his own.

"Danny," she whispered, disconnecting their lips with a loud smack. She moved towards the sofa, unzipping her tight dress. She could see him smirk – oh, that hot, lopsided smile that made her go crazy – under all that baggage.

"Hey," she said lovingly, "come here baby. I'm sorry about everything that happened."

"It's not your fault," he said, "Don't be sorry."He smiled again before bending down again to kiss her neck. She tangled her fingers into his long brown locks, shining a toothy smile as he pressed his lips to that one part behind her ear.

"I love you," he said, before the night passed away.

It's worth the risk. Definitely.

Hello, Twisted lovers! This is my first story about this show. I don't really ship anyone as of yet, but since Danny and Lacey were dating as of the latest episode, I decided that my little drabble thing should be on Dacey (is that what they're called?)

This was just a small drabble. It didn't take long to write and I just wanted to try my hand at something new. The first scene is from the episode when Jo gets drunk, and the second scene is the one from after Danny's unsuccessful party. (Oh and I apologize if you find any small errors)

So please review, and let me know what you think! I'll write more, if I get the inspiration (maybe some DannyJo or JoRico.) Thank you!
