Dorothy&Nova Detective Agency
Chapter One
The story opens to a door with the words: "Dorothy&Nova Detective Agency" on it. The door opens to reveal Dorothy stiffly sitting at her dark wooden desk.... Waiting for her detective partner Nova to arrive.
Nova finally bursts through the door. "Sorry I'm late!"
Dorothy sighs.
"I couldn't find my lucky socks! You know the one's I've worn everyday for the past five years? With the yellow stripes? And I never go anywhere without them?"
Dorothy nodded. "I know very well what socks you speak of. In fact, I through them away just this morning before you got up."
Nova's eyes pop out off her head.
"I couldn't stand the smell." Dorothy said.
"What!!!" Nova screamed angrily as set Dorothy's nice expensive desk on fire.
"Gah... Nova! That is the fourth desk this week!" Dorothy screamed.
Dorothy ran to the other side of the room and grabbed a fire extinguisher.
Nova's eyes grew very wide. "Ooo!"
Something shiny had caught Nova's sparkling red eyes.
"That is our only clue. Remember that," Dorothy tried to stress hoping Nova would get the idea.
Everything goes wavy.
"What's happening!?!" Nova screamed.
"It's just a flashback so calm down," Dorothy replied.
"Oh okay! Can do!" Nova said.
A tall blonde lady walks into the Dorothy&Nova Detective Agency. She wore a black veil over her face, but it could not hide the fact that she had been crying recently.
"The reason I am here is because Ferio received the shiny orb in the mail and died shortly after receiving it," she said as tears began to roll down her cheeks.
Dorothy nodded and handed her a box of tissues.
"I want you to find out what caused my husband Ferio's demise." Fuu said tearfully.
Suddenly scream is heard from outside the open window.
"Hey D! I just found out that cheer leaders are flammable!" Nova cried.
"Sorry Mrs. Fuu. Ignore her. It is just my idiotic partner. She is... young! Please continue." Dorothy said.
"There is no limit to the money I will pay to find out what caused my husbands death. Money is no object." Fuu said as she wiped her eyes.
Dorothy is VERY happy at this! Though being an android she can hid this well.
Dorothy then yells down at Nova, "get upstairs!"
Dorothy then sees Nova chasing a running fireball screaming crazily.
Fuu then hands Dorothy the shiny orb and the flashback ends.
"Cool! I'll be real careful when I play with it then!" Nova replied.
Dorothy blinked.
Nova grabbed their only clue and threw it out the window. Nova then disappeared from the room to go out and catch it.
"This is not good." Dorothy said as she sweat dropped.
Nova appeared three feet to far to the left and their only clue crashed to the ground.
"oops! Hope that isn't a bad thing..." Nova said as cat ears appeared on her head.
"Nova!" Dorothy said as she stuck her head out the window. "That was our only clue! Remember I tried to make that very clear to you?"
Dorothy then pulled her head back in the room and came outside to join Nova. When she came out she looked down at their shiny clue thing.
"There is something inside it." Dorothy announced.
