it was a warm an sunny day in the lovely Beach city, the sun was shining and Steven was eager to spend time with his best friend Connie, the two are very close, talking and texting for hours on end. They don't get to see each other very often since Connie lives in another town. Steven has had a secret crush on Connie since they where 13 (them being 17 now) "today might be the day i tell Connie how i feel" he thinks to himself, *sigh* "who am i kidding, i'm to scared to tell her" Steven thinks as he falls back on his bed an stares blankly while his mind races with thought and his hearts pounds.
the crystal gems walk into the house and start preparing for a mission. "Steven!" Garnet exclaims, "where getting ready to go out, do you wanna go with us.?" "Nah, Connie's coming over today,remember?" Steven says. "oh sorry i forgot, anyway don't do anything i wouldn't do!" Garnet reply's in a teasing manner. "Uggghh, you always say that" Steven says in a laughing manner. "Connie's just a friend anyway." "sure she is" Amethyst says jokingly. Pearl laughs as they exit through the teleporter leaving Steven all alone in his thoughts impatiently waiting for Connie to come.
"where could she be" Steven said as he paced back in forth in front of the door. Every few steps he looked out the door or window to see if he had somehow not heard her coming. This continued for 15 mins until Steven sees her walking down the beach. He runs down the steps and greets her by grabbing her and hugging her. "sorry i'm late Steven, i stopped by the big donut to get us these" Connie shows Steven the bag with a donut for each of them. Stevens got all starry eyed. "my two favorite things in the world, you and donuts" Steven said cheerfully while biting into his donut. they proceed to take a seat on the steps of the beach house. "so which do you like better" Connie said playfully. "you of course" Steven replied with a flirtatious tone in his voice. they both start laughing. They finish there donuts and head inside to go about their plans for the day.
they both are laying on their stomachs with their feet in the air on Stevens bed marathoning their favorite show "under the knife" "i cant believe they killed off Sarah, she was like... my favorite character" Connie says is a somber tone. the show goes on a commercial break in-between episodes, Steven realizes this is his chance to make his move. "H... Hey Connie can... can i tell you something" Steven asks Connie in a worried tone "sure Steven, you can tell me anything." "well its just that... i uh... i really like you." Steven says, his cheeks red as apples. "i like you to Steven, *giggles* why would you think i wouldn't?" Connie reply's "No not like that, i mean i l...l...love you." Steven could barley get those words out.
"Connie, iv had a crush on you ever since i saw you at the parade that day. Since then we've grown closer and closer, i just cant keep it in anymore" Steven says leaning closer and closer to Connie. Steven puts his arms around Connie and kisses her on the lips. "I love you Connie." "I..I don't know what to say" Connie said all starry eyed. Well, "how do you feel about me?" Steven asked Connie. Connie leaned in with out hesitation and kissed Steven. This kiss lasted for 15 seconds until Steven fell back on his bed to catch his breath. "does that answer you question Steven?" "I...it sure does?." the two lovebirds giggle. They proceed to start making out. This goes on for 5 mins until they see a flash and hear a noise, it was the gems returning home. They immediately spot the to kissing on Steven bed. "STEVEN, don't you know that's not sanitary" Pearl yells. the two look embarrassed but that quickly goes away when garnet says "just friends huh. Steven, Connie, Amethyst, and Garnet start to laugh while pearl is still freaking out.
