Yoh and Manta were discussing Anna in Yoh's kitchen.
"Yoh, do this. Yoh, do that. I'm SO SICK of all of Anna's orders!" said Yoh to Manta.
"Then why don't you leave her?" asked Manta.
"I can't Manta. What will my parents say?" claimed Yoh "They'll kill me for sure!"
"But what if Anna doesn't find out?" asked Manta.
"Impossible. That itako knows everything about everyone," said Yoh cruelly. "Do you know how many times I've tried to break the engagement? Many times!"
Unknown to them, Anna was silently listening to them.
"So that's how they think of me. A cold, hard, nosy jerk," said Anna sadly.
She ran to her room and locked the door. Anna was crying so hard.
The boy she loved hated her
Anna was writing a letter to Yoh while she was crying. It went like this.
Dear Yoh,
I know you do not think me as a fiancé but more of an enemy. I'm very sorry for all of the sorrow that I've caused to you for the past few months. But you need not worry anymore because by the time you are reading this letter I will either be gone. Yes, Yoh, you heard me, gone. I'm doing this for you because I know how much you dislike me. I want to tell you this before I go, Yoh, I love you. And I'm doing this because I love you. Good bye, Yoh. I hope you will live a happier life when I'm not part of your world anymore.
Anna.
She put the letter on the floor and unlocked her room door.
Then, she packed her bags and left without telling anyone.
The next morning Yoh was looking for Anna. He found Anna's letter and read it on the way to the kitchen. Yoh was shocked and realized that he did care for Anna.
He then called Manta to tell him about Anna.
" I think you better see this, Yoh," said Manta when he reached Yoh's house.
He showed Yoh that day's newspaper.
On the second page was an article.
The article said:
Anna Kyoyama, 13, was proclaimed dead today at the Funbari Hill General Hospital at 7.25 this morning. She had cut her wrists the day before and was found a few hours before she died. It seems from what the doctors say, her last words were, "I hope you will be happy, Yoh"
Below the article was a picture of Anna and Yoh smiling.
