Author's Note: I started thinking about comparing characters this morning, and, since it made me laugh, decided to pass it along. It's probably been done already, but bear with me. Part of my modified 100 fic challenge.
John amused himself sometimes by comparing his life with various science fiction movies.
Today he was using Star Wars.
If he was Luke, he guessed that made D'Argo Han, which seemed wrong. But Zhaan could easily be Ben Kenobi, and he thought it would be hilarious (though profoundly disturbing) if Scorpius, as Darth Vader, said,
"John, I am your father."
He could see Moya's crew as the rag-tag Rebellion, and the Peacekeepers were entirely too much like the Empire.
Of course, that would mean that Aeryn was his sister.
And Rygel would be Yoda.
Comparisons could only go so far.
