Brooke's pov
As I pulled out of the car that brought me here I thought, well here goes nothing. I grabbed hold of my luggage and tipped the driver and headed to my house. House of Horus. Whoever that is. I started lazily at the pamphlet; they gave me, trying to figure out where to go. As I searched throw it I saw that I was going to be rooming with someone named Selena Iris Thorne.
I went with I followed the pamphlet, got lost a few times, but finnaly made I reached the house I one look at it and before I even had a chance to open the door out came an older lady probably in her mid 40s. When she saw me she came up to me and gave me this huge hug.
"Hello, hello" the lady said kindly, with a heavy British accent" after finally letting me go. "I'm Jane Elizabeth Henry" she said before I could say anything. "Hi, I'm Brooke Madison Roth" I replied. "Come on inside you must be freezing, oh your suit case must be so heavy, you'll love all the other house mates, and don't worry you're not the only new kid, and well here we are. Make sure you take your shoes off" she babbled on.
I took a step inside and looked around. It was beautiful in a Victorian way. There was a large crystal chandelier, two wooden spiral staircase cases winding up and then coming together into a landing, a large dining room table big enough to fit at least 9 people, and a large Victorian garden outside complete with a high archway and small fountain.
As I looked around Jane grabbed my suitcase, well suitcases, and brought them upstairs. I went into the bathroom to wash my hands, and passed by a large mirror. I took a second to look at myself. I had a 5'5 foot height, olive skin, pretty long blonde hair, and beautiful ocean blue eyes. I didn't want to brag, I'm not like that, but I was pretty good looking.
I had been doing pretty well at my other school, but when I got a scholarship for here, I could NOT refuse the offer. I had good friends, and I was sad about leaving them and my family. But I knew I would make new friends and still be able to interact with my family. Sooooo everything would be fine! I hope…
