SpongeBob: The average life of n average sponge.
This is my first fan fiction so if you have any tips they would be greatly appreciated!
Oh I don't own any of the SpongeBob characters or episodes. Matter of fact I don't own anything.
Chapter One:
Bikini Bottom, an underwater civilization with a population of over 300 fishes and other creatures. It's amazing how so many different types of creatures can come together in this small town and help each other. Even though it is very clear that they are different. An amazing example of this is a friendship between a sponge and a starfish. Next door neighbors, they are best friends sharing a common interest of jelly fishing. Their friendship extends out to other local creatures like Sandy Cheeks the land squirrel, Larry the Lobster and Eugene Krabs . Our story takes place in Bikini Bottom as SpongeBob is awakened by his loud alarm clock. "Good morning Gary. " SpongeBob says as he passes his pet snail. SpongeBob starts his day by eating breakfast and getting ready to go to work. This sponge works at a fast food restaurant that's well known around Bikini Bottom. The Krusty Krab owned by Eugene Krabs is one of the most visited restaurants in town. Its famous for its Krabby Patty that SpongeBob makes perfectly using the secret ingredient that no one but and SpongeBob know. The sponge gets dressed in his usual attire; white top, brown pants and a red tie. He pulls on his shoes and calls, "Bye Gary! Foods in the kitchen" as he leaves his pineapple home. He starts his long walk toward his job passing Squidward, another neighbor, as he walks. "Good morning Squidward!" SpongeBob calls to the squid. "It's never a good morning with you here SpongeBob." The grumpy cephalopod calls out the window. The sponge chuckled and says, "I'll see you at work Squidy." Squidward mumbles something and sticks his head back inside of his house. "Is that SpongeBob I hear?" A nearby rock says. The rock flips open and there lays a starfish in Bermuda shorts. "Well hello there Star." SpongeBob goes over to have a short conversation with his best pal. "Hey Squarepants." Patrick says happily. "What are your plans for today Patrick?" "Well I was wondering if you wanted to go jelly fishing after work." Patrick doesn't have a job and does nothing all day, but sleep. He wanted to get out of his house, but he had nothing to do outside. So he usually waited for SpongeBob to be free so they could hang out together. "Of course. Why don't you stop by on my lunch break and we can also have lunch together?" SpongeBob offered. He knew that the star was usually bored without him around so he tried to spend all the time he could spend with his best friend. "That'd be awesome!" the star said happily. "Well then I'll see you at noon." The sponge continued his walk to the Krusty Krab and when he got there was just unlocking the doors. "Early again boy." "Yes sir. Better early than late I always say." "Really? When do you say that?" "Just now." The sponge laughed and entered the Krusty Krab. "Oh Mr. Krabs can I turn the sign today? Please. Oh please. Oh please." The sponge pleaded. "Sure. Have fun." Mr. Krabs sighed and went into his office to count up his money from last night. SpongeBob happily turned the little white sign so that it said, "Open." "And that's the perfect way to start a day, now isn't it?"
