Supernatural Seasons 1-5 Recap
AN: So this is the story of supernatural using One Republic titles.
P.S. I was feeling slightly hyper so it's probably rubbish and doesn't make any sense

Once upon a time there were two brothers called Sam and Dean and when Dean arrived at Sam's house and proceeded to fight, Sam thought I'm dreaming out loud.
Dean wouldn't apologize for fighting Sam because he thinks "all we are is hunters" and he has returned to take their father's prodigal son back into the hunting biz. But in the process he is distracted by Jess who is wearing a Smurfs top and thinks "let's stop and stare".
Later into his conversation with Sam he says "come home" to save their father and so Sam finally says "goodbye apathy" and joins Dean on his quest to save their father.
By the end of the episode the yellow eyed demon kills Jess and Sam says "I won't stop killing supernatural creatures" but in his sleep he is hearing voices and keeps seeing Jess. Both Sam and Dean have secrets but Dean thinks he has all the right moves and thinks everybody loves me, so he basically flirts with anyone.
But all this time he is really lonely without his father and as much as he tries to live the good life, he can't. The tyrant demon Azazel has other plans for Sam and plans to use him in the apocalypse. But by the end of series Sam is killed and Dean feels as though he has to be "someone to save you" but due to their complicated lives, the people they know all fall down. So Sam dies but that would be too easy and so Dean sacrifices himself to save his brother and is lost and found.
But Dean is due to die in a year, and goes to hell. He cries mercy to Alastair and in doing so starts the apocalypse and so Cas raises him from perdition and it's like Dean is waking up from his surroundings.
Once Dean and Sam hug and move on, they keep marching on but it's a shame because their relationship is put at odds because of the conflict of being vessels for heaven and hell. They both have fear because they don't know what is coming and all the angels feel that their roles are made for you but Dean and Sam say all I need is my brother.
Lucifer rises from Hell and Dean and Sam work to stop the opening of the seals but in the end Sam breaks the last seal by killing Lilith. In the season 5 finale Sam and Dean try to trap Lucifer in the trapt door by going to Detroit but Dean feels like something's not right here. Sam still carries through with trying to defeat Lucifer. Unfortunately after Sam says yes to Lucifer, Lucifer takes over and in the scene in the parking lot he gives Dean a sucker punch but Sam has a flashback to a time when he was a passenger in the Impala and manages to control Lucifer. Sam falls into the hole, along with Adam (who is Michael's vessel). But for what it's worth Cas, Bobby and Dean are still alive and Dean tries to live a normal life.
