Hello, I'm back! This time with the remastered version. It may not be the best, but its still better than what it was. For new readers and old, I hope you enjoy!
"Lucy, get up" Gajeel growled at the annoying blond. She was currently laying face down on the red, plush carpet of the train they had been riding. Apparently the motion sickness was hitting her especially hard. "No," Lucy replied stubbornly, voice muffled from her face on the carpet.
The only way she was getting off of this train was if Gajeel carried her. Why did he have to be so mean? He knew she didn't recover as fast as he did. She couldn't wait until Sapphire made more medicine. That would show him!
"I will leave you, " he warned. "No you won't," she replied confidently. She was 100% sure her exceed friend wouldn't Let that rust bucket leave her behind. "Ya left me no choice, Bunny" He growled. He was serious this time. He was so not in the mood for her shit. Just because he had gotten over it faster, didn't mean he hadn't suffered from motion sickness just like her, and it always put him in a foul mood.
He turned around and stalked off, leaving the whining blonde on the floor. Lucy heard the sound of his retreating footsteps, but she didn't want to believe he had left her. She waited a couple minutes until her head stopped spinning and sat up. Chocolate eyes widened in disbelief as she saw no signs of her companions. Gajeel she could understand, but Lily and Sapphire? She had been betrayed!
She quickly shot up from her sitting position, wincing as a throb of pain shit through her head, and ran off the train. She was intent on finding Gajeel before his scent faded more than it already had. 'That Bastard is in big trouble'
Natsu Dragneel was currently searching the town he was in for his missing friends. Some friends they were. They hadn't even bothered to check on him before they departed from the train. If it wasn't for Happy, a true friend, then he would still be on that damn death trap. 'That damn Ice Bastard' he thought growling to himself. He wanted to blame Erza too, but even in his mind he was too afraid.
If happy hadn't come back for him he would have still been in that damned train. But even that wasn't enough because Happy had ditched him almost immediately after.
He was starting to get really annoyed. It had been almost two hours and he hadn't found one trace of his team mates. When he first started looking he hadn't thought that it would be hard finding them so he didn't bother following their scents. Now it was too late, they were to faint for him to follow without a starting point.
He was just turning a corner when he collided with something solid. He stumbled a little, but quickly regained his balanced. He heard a small groan and looked down, only to see a blonde girl rubbing her head. "Oh, sorry," he said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. He held his free hand out, offer her assistance in picking herself up. She took it and stood up.
She looked down at her clothes and brushed off the invisible dirt. Natsu took the time to observe her. She was Erza's height, maybe a few centimeters shorter. Her blonde her was free a flowing past her shoulders, and when she smiled up at him he saw she had warm brown eyes. 'She's pretty cute'.
"It's okay," she replied, "It was an accident. Just don't do it again" She gave him a wink. "Well then," he said holding out his hand, this time to shake hers, "I'm Natsu "."And I'm Lucy," she said taking his hand. "Hey do you live here," he asked, eyes gleaming. If he couldn't find his friends then the next best thing was to get directions to his job.
"Sorry, no," she shook her head apologetically, " Just passing through". "Oh," he physically deflated at the words and Lucy felt guilty. "Why do you ask," she questioned. Maybe she could help him out another way. "Cuz I was lookin' for my friends," he said scratching his cheek. It was kind of embarrassing telling a stranger that he had been ditched by his friends.
Lucy brightened up, " Me too". Then she blushed, smiling shyly. "Sorry," she laughed, "I guess that's nothing to get excited about". "Hahah, no prob-," his sentence was short as a familiar scent went past his nose. "Sorry Luce, I have to go," and with that he was gone running past her down the street.
She was a little stunned at his sudden departure, but she quickly shook it off. 'Luce' she thought confused. She shrugged her shoulders and continued on her quest of finding the rust bucket who abandoned her.
Gajeel Redfox was not a very patient person. When he left Lucy on the train, he had expected her to follow right after him. Sure his Bunny could be as stubborn as he was, but not when he was in the wrong. There was no way in hell he was carrying her! And there was no way he was going after her. She had to learn a lesson. Plus, he had no idea where she even was at the moment and he didn't care enough to go looking.
He was surprised that Lily had stayed with her. He felt somewhat betrayed, after all it was a given that Sapphire was going to stay with her, but Lily should always back him up! So here he was an hour later wandering around town and no Lucy, Sapphire, or Lily.
'She's in trouble' he mentally growled. With that in mind he turned a corner and ran into something. He didn't fall, but the force made him stumble. He looked up, ready to rip someone's head off, to see a half-naked man and a woman in armor.
The woman gave him a stern glare." Watch were you're walking" she bit out, glaring from underneath her red bangs. He snorted. 'Who does she think she is'. "Ya ran into me to, Red".
With the way she was glaring at him, it seemed like she wanted to fight. She must have thought better of it, however, because she mumbled a "whatever" and walked past him, brushing her shoulder against his. "Come Gray, we must find Natsu". He assumed she was talking to the stripper, because the raven haired male ran after her. He took on last look at them before turning around and continuing on his way. 'Some people are just crazy'.
