Megaman must die

If it means the fate of the future, would you become evil, would you kill your own brothers to make it happen, would you become the greatest villain ever? This was what Over-1 was willing to do, and this is his tale. T for violence and language.

1. Chapter 1

Chapter 1

Not a bright place.

I've started to rethink my life lately. The beginning, the middle, and the end. I was created in Limbo, yes, Limbo. I was made by a council of people, whom most of them I have not met. Rock, the first, X, the independent, Zero, the reformed, Grey, the manufactured, Lan, the controller, Geo, the stellar boy, Dr. Crossack, and the great Dr. Light. As far back as I can remember, I woke up outside of Limbo, in the real world. I was in the year 20XX . . .

"Hello, Over-1. I am Doctor Light."

"And I am Doctor Mikhail Cossack. It is our pleasure to introduce you to the world."

"But, sadly, the world is a little busy, being destroyed and all." Dr. Light said.

"That is why we built you. The world is in peril, Over-1. Horrible men have traveled to certain points in time and changed it for the worse." Dr. Cossack added.

"Who are these people?" I asked. I didn't know how I said it, I just did. Dr. Light and Dr. Cossack briefed me about everything. The world was at the brink of destruction. It was not a bright place. Dr. Light sent me to several different time periods. They sent me and only me. They told me that something prevented certain people from going to the time periods that the attackers, as Dr. Light called them, were in. But, they didn't know of me, so, they couldn't block me.

Things were fine. I went on several missions. I didn't think much of them, until my most recent mission. I went to the end of the 23rd century. I saw death and destruction beyond my imagination.

The attackers weren't too happy with my meddling in their plans. So, they went to the end of the twenty third century. I looked at the landscape surrounding me. All I saw was water. They flooded everything. Thousands of people died. I started to think about everything, if I can time travel, why can't I make a difference. The attackers leader had spent his life trying to destroy Megaman. But, if he didn't spend so much time trying to destroy Megaman, he wouldn't do this to the world. My decision was final, I must destroy Megaman.
