Torn

Todd locked eyes with his Delgado as she entered the interrogation room. Her eyes were pure fire and he wondered if she was there to save him or send him straight to hell.

"I need your help to clear up this misunderstanding. I need you by my side like always," Todd pleaded with her. He would never understand how Victor had gotten her on his side.

Tea walked up to him with sultriness etched into every step. She paused and he wondered what she was thinking. She slapped him with as much anger and hostility as she felt burning under her surface.

"I wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire. You murdered my husband and I hope that John locks you up and throws away the key. The days of me being your doormat are over."

"I didn't kill him Tea. If you think I'm capable of murdering my brother then you obviously never knew me."

"Oh please, you hated Victor and you wanted him dead."

"You're right, but Blair and my children and you all loved him and I wouldn't hurt you by killing him. I love you Delgado, are you really going to throw everything that we had away because of him. How could you choose to be loyal to him over me?"

"Because he deserves my loyalty when you don't. He put me first when you never have. He loved me for me, and with him I was never third best."

"You're not third best. I loved you, I married you."

"Please we both know that Marty comes first, then Blair, then me if I'm lucky and yeah you married me a couple of times but you've also hurt me every step of the way. "

Todd pulled her into a kiss. She fought him away at first, but then felt herself getting lost in the familiarity of loving him.

"You still love me. I can tell."

He was right. As much as she loved Victor she loved Todd too.

"Bye, Todd," Tea said as she walked away from him. She had to get out of there before she got suckered into helping him. She couldn't help him this time no matter how torn she was. She wouldn't betray Victor.
