(Conan's POV)
I walked in the rainy streets my umbrella held high. It was dark and there was thunder. I was going to have to stop by Agasa's house. I knocked once.
Twice.
Thrice.
After receiving no answer from the door I kicked it ever so slightly. It opened. I slowly stepped into the house to make sure everything was okay. I put my umbrella down and called out.
"Oi. Is anybody here?"
As I called out I saw lightning. Shortly after the standard thunder followed. In the small time between those two occurrences I heard a weak scream come from the top of the steps. I slowly made my way up them to check what was happening.
The noise came from the bedroom.
I slowly opened the door to see Haibara sitting on the bed, arms folded around her legs. Hands covering her ears, and her eyes shut tightly. Only one thought popped into mind.
'Is this really Haibara?'
The thunder came again. This time she started to shake. I did something completely on impulse and ran up to her. She opened her eyes and acknowledged my presence.
"K-Kudo."
I climbed on the bed, threw my arm around her and pulled her close to me. The shaking stopped instantly. Soon her whole body relaxed.
"T-thank you." She stuttered out of her lips as she buried her head into my chest. I smiled and rested my head upon hers. I soon closed my eyes and started to think about the storm. Even though it looks melancholic, it wasn't so much the case today.
(Ai's POV)
I smiled as I sat next to him on the bed. I snuggled my head deeper into his chest.
'You're a horrible detective Kudo.'
I saw an identical smile on his face as he rested his head on mine and slowly closed his eyes.
'Because no matter how many times I play this trick, you never seem to figure it out.'
I thought of this while I was lying down, trying to get sleep and it started to thunder. I'm not afraid of it. It just disrupts my sleep patterns. Gave me a lot of time to write this. I hope you enjoyed, I know it wasn't the best and It is a bit cliche but if you really cared you would be browsing this site for fan fiction. Well I am out and I will see you guys next time.
