The clouds hung low in the sky. Rain was trying to push through to no avail. All was still, including the bloodied girl in front of Black Star. His heart hurt at seeing his partner like this. He had no idea how to handle this situation. What was he to do?
"Are you okay Tsubaki?" Black Star said keeping his voice low and calm.
"Yes." Tsubaki responded her eyes darting away to avoid eye contact with his. Black Star saw this and immediately doing to only thing her knew how, he tried to lighten to mood.
"Tsubaki, need a hug?" He said, his arms wide, open and inviting. Tsubaki started to sniffle, then like the clouds above started to cry. She wrapped her arms around his waist and cried. She was kneeling on the ground her face buried into his toned abs. Black Star did not know what to do. So, he wrapped his arms around her then best he could and just told her it was ok. Eventually, she released her grip and he helped her up, like a princess and her prince. Black Star sent her a flashy smile and she smiled weakly back. Everything happened so fast the Black Star had no idea what just occurred. But Tsubaki did she knew all to well what happened. Tsubaki had placed her lips right on his cheek and quickly pulled away and started walking back to the academy. A blush rising on her cheeks and his as well.
"Tsubaki wait up!" Black Star yelled running after Tsubaki. Their walk back was normal although it was obvious that the two walked a little closer then usual.
