Ah, I do remember that fateful day,
The sky was clear and a storm not a sight!
Flowers so lovely bloomed under the ray,
And there was lovely you… as dark as night…
By myself, in a forest I ventured,
Very bold yet naive I do say so… X3
I stumbled upon seeing your black fur,
And wondered why you were trav'ling solo.
You turned back and with a shock you produced,
Thine eyes glimmered as though they were troubled.
A hush came from your mouth that seemed so loose,
Your paws so innocent clasped and wobbled.
Such gestures that was ever so charming!
But what was in your eyes that seemed troubling?
I realized how rude I was to "shock",
I stood and sheepishly apologized…
Your eyes and mine stood still, glistened, and locked…
… Then time somehow paused and the area sized…
I took your left paw away from your right,
Held it warmly as they were cold as death,
… You suddenly embraced me and held tight…
…And you nearly choked out all of my breath.
"I'm terribly sorry," you squeezed harder,
"I've been so lonely for so long," you huffed.
"I don't want to run anymore mister…"
"Woah now! Who yah calling mister?" I puffed.
I didn't know you; you didn't know me…
And you have yet to finish that story.
"Er, yah ran away? From what may I ask?"
I managed to say from the awkward sitch'.
You backed an inch and with a saddened mask…
… started explaining, with a grievous pitch.
"I never wanted things to go this way…
Alas! My father arranged everything…
And I just… I just… want to walk away…"
You held your tail and tears started running…
Suddenly, five blackened creatures appeared…
Their appearance seemed to be of your kind.
They surrounded us but you need not fear!
