THE DATE, A PERCABETH STORY

Percy

Oh gods of Olympus, what was I going to wear? Where was my ring? Where was that pack of condo… eh, never mind. See, this is the problem with dating Annabeth. I know that she dosent demand from me, but those sexy gray eyes and that dazzling smile speak on their own behalf. Anyway, I was scrambling to put on my good jeans when I heard a knocking on the door. "Percy? Are you ready?"

"Just a moment!"

And with that, I crashed out and on to Annabeth

"Aww, Seaweed brain!"

I got up and helped her to her feet. She gave me a big kiss and gestured along.

"so, where do you want to go" she asked.

"um, I'm not sure? Oh! You remember the sea of monsters!"

"yes. But this is a date, not a tropical vacation."

"No, I mean we could go to monster donut!"

She laughed "yeah, and we can stop at polyphuemus's all you eat mutton buffet."

We laughed and hailed a cab into the city. We found a decent restaurant and had some fun eating and talking. But of course, as I was planning to give her the ring, her shoulder sprouted a poison dart.

"P..P….Percy?" she stuttered, and then fell out of the chair with horrible spasms. I sat transfixed with shock, until the monster, a Dracaena to be exact, jumped at Annabeth's limp body with a spear. Chink! Bam! AAARGH! That's it for that snake woman. But what about Annabeth? I picked her up and carried her back to camp. Chiron trotted over and gave her some antidote.

"Some night huh?" she asked when she got out of the camp infirmary.

"Well actually…" I said and pulled the ring out. She gasped and threw her arms around me and gave me the most passionate kiss she's ever given.

"I know its not a proposal" she whispered "but I still love it, except not as much as I love you."

She then dragged me back to my cabin and then tackled me back through the door and locked it behind us. Lets just say that those things I packed, came in very handy.

Clarisse: Why did Jackson's cabin have to be next to Ares? I had to endure a night of moaning and them going at it.
