20 breif snippets of life for two unlikely lovers.

1: Voice- If Woof could still talk, telling her how he felt would have been harder than it already had been.

2: Armor- Deidre never wanted a Knight in Shining Armor; she'd prefer the dragon.

3: Dance- the movie was older than anyone in their little Gang, but as Woof and Deidre danced to 'Beauty and the Beast' as the credits rolled, the other Jokerz thought it was strangely fitting.

4: Hunt- she played hard to get at first, but he was a predator who always got his prey in the end.

5: Suit- Woof was never a fan of getting real dressed up, but he needed clean clothing otherwise the smell got to him.

6: Laundry- After Batman had broken his arm, Deidre had done his laundry for him- because he'd broken that arm taking a blow for her, and it felt right to do.

7: Deli- the meat just looked sooooo good, and if Woof could have gotten at it he would; but it was just a hologram, Deidre reminded him as she dragged him away by his shirt collar.

8: Slave- she really shouldn't have made the bet, Deidre mused, as she carried the empty plate to the kitchen for more meat; Woof was working her like a slaggin' dog.

9: Puppy- when Deidre found him and brought him home, she forgot that hyenas were cat like and was surprised when Woof and the little stray mutt started hissing and growling at each other.

10: Rage- when the gang and Batman fought, the Jokerz were shocked to see their kind (if hyper) friend turn into a snarling monster when Deidre was threatened.

11: War- Delila and Woff despised the other, but when they fought it was with water balloons and pies to the face for Deidre's sake.

12: Murder- when the Batarang damn near sliced Woof's arm off, Deidre pulled out a gun and shot Batman; he was damn lucky his suit could stop bullets, or Deidre would've been a murderer.

13: Surprise!- Harleen Quinnzel wasn't shocked when Mr. J showed up on her doorstep fresh as a daisy, asking if the twins were his grandkids, but damn if she was when Deidre brought Woof home for the first time.

14: Prayers- Delila wasn't religous, but she prayed Woof would pull through; because she didn't want to loose her sister if they lost Woof.

15: Collar- the collar would be funnier if he'd spliced with a dog, but Deidre thought it was sexy to put him on a leash, so he wore the leather band on his neck with animalistic pride.

16: 'Woof, woof'- he hadn't meant to do it, but when he needed a name in the gang and accidentally dropped his pants in full view of Deidre, the girl had said "Woof woof" to joke about his man parts and the name sort of stuck.

17: Pain- watching the love of her life lying on the sidewalk, blood pooled around him as he died, Deidre wanted to end it all then and there, because death was preferable to this.

18: Beast- if that bird winged jerk thought he could upstage Woof in the animal department, Woof would just have to show him a real animal; of course, wings do not a bird make, and Woof won that fight easy as pie.

19: Storm- he wasn't scared, the noise just bothered him; but she made it all better with some quiet music and an ear massage.

20: Shit- Deidre, unlike her sister, was organized; and so when she saw Woof's room it wasn't surprising when she fainted, the appaling clutter to much to handle.

Ah yes, Woof and Deidre from Batman Beyond, Return of the Joker. I pair them, you see, as Woof doesn't get enough love.
