Marcus Cole was waiting for Susan Ivanova to finish an emergency call in her quarters, they had been discussing a recent attack and what forces they would send to help when the call came.
While he was waiting Marcus was looking at a few items on Ivanova's shelf a few small glass cravings of various animals, an earth alliance graduation form mounted on a wall in a frame. And also a small star of David symbol Marcus noticed something a small black frame hidden behind the certificate. Once he had a closer look Marcus noticed that it was Ivanova when she was much younger with short hair there was also another man much taller with the same colour hair. Ivanova came back to the front room.
"Nice" said Marcus with a slight smirk
"Oh come on we have all had some dodgy haircuts" Said Ivanova as she sat down Marcus sat opposite her with the photo.
"That's me with my brother"
"you never told me you had a brother" said Marcus slightly concerned.
"That's because he died at the battle of the line in the minbari war" said Ivanova as she looked down
"I'm sorry" Marcus' voice was very soft as he thought of his own brother.
"That's why I wasn't very kind to you when you first arrived on Babylon 5, you reminded me of him I'm sorry for how I treated you when you will you ever forgive me?" Ivanova Wasn't far from tears at this point.
"Of course I will on one condition"
"What's that?"
"That next time you just talk to me tell ok?"
"I can do that" said Ivanova on top of her emotions again.
"Good now I'll see you tomorrow" said Marcus as he got up and left the photo was still on the table with a small note that read:
