Tessa Grey trains with her Parabatai, William Herondale.
"C'mon Will I know you can do better than that." Tessa smirks as this statement leaves her lips.
Will just grunts and attacks Tessa once more. "Ha. Try andbeat that Grey!" He say grinning in victory.
"Oh you're so on! Herondale!" Tessa says glaring playfully, she runs at Will with her seraph blade out and glowing with power.
"William Theresa?" A voice asks Tessa pins Will.
They glance at one another puzzled as James Calastaire walks into the trading room.
"What's the trouble Jem?" Tessa asks as she helps Will up from the ground.
"There's a demon attack at the New York Institute." Jem says simply.
"Oh no!" Tessa gasps as she thinks of Clary Ferchild and Jace Wayland.
"Tess. We'll help them. C'mon." Will say gently tugging on her arm.
So this was an intro to the plot line.
