Spencer sat in his study, working diligently when Derek came in to interrupt, "You need to relax Spencer. The essay isn't due for another two weeks. You've been in the since 1 AM yesterday! Come and hang out with the guys for once." Spencer didn't budge.
"I don't care if it's due for another two weeks, I've been flunking so I need to study more." Spencer explained.
"You've GOT to be KIDDING me! You have straight A's and got one A-! That's not flunking! As long as you've still got A's, you're doing fine. Stop working for once."
"You know what? FINE! If that's what you want, then that's what you'll get; but I'm not hanging out with you guys, I'm going upstairs on the deck."
"To do what; grieve that you can't do work?"
"You're an ass Derek!" Spencer rushed off to his room and slammed the door behind him. He calmed down and walked over to the deck to sit down in his lounging chair. He thought if he had fun and was happy, his grades would drop in an instant. He said in sorrow, "Lithium, don't want to lock me up inside. Lithium, don't want to forget how it feels without Lithium. I want to stay in love with my sorrow. But God I want to let it go."
