Chapter I

In the Forest of Forever Fall, there lies a small camp of hunters on a mission to rid the immediate region of Grim. Only now there was no Grimm due to very successful efforts, however, a bumbling Professor Port is never short for a good story, 'ever'. The easily amused Team CFVY sits around the campfire listening to his seemingly incoherent babble, while the four teens were busying themselves with minor tasks. Coco who was giving her mini-gun a standard cleaning due to the lack of proper tools needed to properly clean the cumbersome weapon. Yatsuhashi was also cleaning his massive hooked blade as he had done a thousand times over. Fox was simply leaning back against a log his arm scythes next to him. Velvet sat atop her unopened box almost annoyed by this drabble.

Just as Port finished his most recent story of heroics, they all heard a sound come from the edge of the forest. "Typical there's always some prey that survive the initial hunt." Port stated as he readied his blunderbuss. Team CFVY stood up quickly readying for another bout of Grimm. They stood there in a circle around the fire waiting for the Grimm to come after them. What they didn't expect was a giant centipede like Grimm to charge out of the forest towards them. Coco opened fire along with Port as Yatsuhashi and Fox tried to find an opening to hit the beast as they noticed the bullets bounce off the side of the Grimm's armor. "We've got a Sepa!" Velvet called above the clatter of the centipede Grimm's many legs.

"Correct Ms. Scarlatina." Port said as he grabbed the barrel of his weapon readying it for the use of its axe head handles. Coco just looked the Grimm over the ridge of her glasses letting out a slight huff frustration as she kept her weapon trained on it. However it did not charge any further. It had attempted to claw itself forward only to be trapped by something from behind.

They all heard a roar of frustration as the Sepa was pulled back even further. Coco couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as the Sepa started to make panicked skittering noises as it tried to dig into the earth. They then saw it accelerate as if what ever held onto it lost its grip. What happened next forever changed the history of Remnant even if none of them knew it yet. They saw the Sepa drag the shape of a young man with a Beowolf hood on his head through the clearing as clung to the Sepa's rear claws. Said young man, growling in frustration as it tried to dig into the soil, struggling to find his footing again.

The Sepa then reared its head toward boy that had a vice grip on its backside. It struck quicker than the eye could follow clamping it's pincers on the young man. Everyone watched as he just drew a rusty blade in the form of a giant combat knife, from his back as he pushed the jaws of the Sepa apart. He then proceeded to ram the blade into the mouth of the Sepa, performing a sawing motion with the serrated side of said blade. This inflicted immense pain to the giant insect causing it to screech in rage. Even after it collapsed, the boy still kept sawing it until he cut through the mask. They heard the figure give a slight huff of exhaustion as he put his blade away turning around only to see a pretty little rabbit girl. He remained mesmerized by her curious expression, and in that moment he passes out from loss of blood. The only thing he remembers is seeing a flying metal container, pushing warm air onto his now freezing body.

The stage is set, and a new piece is in place. A new legend is born, when the wolverine awakens.
