Note: Ok, this is my third fanfic. It's a sad one so watch out. It is told from Wolf's point of view here. Ok, the first couple of lines are from a song, if u can guess the song I'll give you a cookie.

I lie here paralytic, inside this soul

Screaming for you till my throat is numb.

I wanna break out

I need a way out

I believe that it has to be this way.

The worst is the waiting

In this Womb I'm suffocating!

No! I can't break out!

the chains of my past tether me here.

This is my last resort.

Fox……

Wolf paused for a moment, wondering if he can possibly go on. Yes, he had to do this; there was no backing out now.

Fox, I realize now that I really never had a chance against you,

You were always destined to best me.

This is a game and you won it.

I was exiled by my own team because of the shame!

Fox, I hope you know what you did to me!

Hell doesn't even come close to what you put me through!

And yet, I don't know why.

Why you?

Wolf was crying now.

Why you and not me?

It was always you, you, you, you….

You are the source of my agony, and now there is nothing you can do to stop me.

It's too late…..

It's all too late now…..

This life is too much for me to handle….

I only see one way out.

I would never admit this to my team, Fox, but I'll miss the rivalry.

This is it………

Wolf slowly put the pen down. He gingerly picked up the letter, as if it were a snake about to bite him. He carefully read it over, as if contemplating if he really wanted it to be this way. But he knew it was all too late to stop now. If he didn't do this today, he knew this would only happen again. And yet….

The tears were now flowing down his muzzle. He folded the note and ever so slowly put it in the envelope addressed to Fox McCloud.

This was it, the moment of truth.

He reached out to the bed post, feeling around for the item he so desperately needed. His hands brushed it and he quickly scooped it up. No turning back….

He slowly put the item next to his head, and all his last memory of this world was

Click, click boom

It was a glorious day out for the leader of Starfox, the sun was out, the morning air was crisp, and there was no sign of cloud cover anywhere. He stepped out of his house in the suburbs of Corneria to get the mail. He was stunned when he received a letter from Wolf. He went back inside. He opened the letter and found it was wet with tears. He slowly unfolded it, not knowing what to expect. The force of the words caused fox to become dizzy. Wolf…. No, not Wolf, It couldn't be…. But he knew all too well that it was. He was crying, but he didn't know why. After all, the letter had attacked Fox in many ways, but he couldn't but help feel remorse for his rival. After all, he had always liked Wolf, he had always had feelings for him, and now, he would never know. Wolf! No… Suddenly the path became all too clear; he knew what to do now. He put down the letter and slipped away to his room. He closed the door, and,
