So I was watching Season 3 Episode 11 'Model Behavior' because I find it hilarious and quite Jibbsy. I found this scene quite depressing so I decided to tweak it a little bit. Anyway, enjoy and please do tell me what you think!
Leroy Jethro Gibbs barged into his ex lover's office as usual, ignoring the pleads of his former girlfriend's assistant as usual
"Cynthia's there for a reason, Jethro" Jenny told him as he shut the door.
"We found this at the crime scene. I thought you might want to read it." There was something in his eyes that Jenny couldn't quite pick out.
"Alright" the redhead replied.
"Dear Noah, It's time for us to realise that this just isn't meant to be. Please know that it was never my intention to hurt you. I will always remember the great times we've had.This is a Dear John letter" Jenny said.
"Postmarked 6 days ago from Quantico Post Office. Writing checks out" Gibbs said to her.
"Taylor Shane sent it" Jenny replied
"Yeah. Noah Kelleher came by to chat about it" The icy blue eyed agent told her.
"Very Romeo and Juliet" Jenny said.
"Yeah, except for the part where he feeds her a toxic Clowny Cake and offs himself" Gibbs replied.
"This must've been a very difficult letter for her to write" Jenny said, knowing how it felt.
"Probably harder for him to read. No one likes getting dumped by postal express" Gibbs replied.
"Maybe he didn't listen. Relationships change. Some people don't know when to let go" Jenny said, feeling he was going to snap back immediately after she finished saying it.
"And you did?" Gibbs questioned with a snap as Jenny had predicted.
"I was scared, Jethro. I was young. I wanted to have a career so badly. I didn't want to remain your partner forever. So I put a letter to you in that cream coat you had got me for my birthday and I didn't get on the plane back to Washington. I left" Jenny's voice cracked so Gibbs knew she was crying.
Neither of them hadn't really been thinking about when she left.
'Unless you count last week' she thought.
The week before, they had an argument about Paris.
Gibbs saw tear tracks on Jenny's face and he put a hand on her shoulder. She stood up and turned to face him.
"I truly am sorry, Jethro" Jenny told him.
"Hey, Jen. Me too" Gibbs replied.
Their lips crashed together.
"I love you Jen"
"I love you too Jethro"
Another one shot finished. I cannot describe how sorry I am for being so inactive; I have just run out of ideas and it might be like that for a while. I might get another chapter of Truth Or Dare done but that depends on you guys. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me and reading my stories. Xxxxxooooo
