I own nothing.

The thing about a Quincy's weapons is that they're always designed to be lightweight. Nearly weightless, really, which is natural, considering that if they miss they're supposed to be running from the Hollow they've just made really mad as fast as they can. It's only reasonable that anything they've got on them shouldn't be heavy enough to weigh them down.

For himself, Uryuu decides that Seele Schneider is about as heavy as the needle that he wields on such a regular basis. For all that it's about the size and length of a regular sword, it's as light as air and every bit as pliable.

Yes, he thinks he can handle this as well as any bow and arrow, because really, that's all Seele Schneider is, an arrow meant to pierce the flesh of things neither living nor dead.

It's not so different from using a needle. Thin blades, razor sharp, light as air. Precise movements are needed, no detail can be missed and as long as he remembers that Uryuu's alright.

It's so very easy, which he didn't really expect, but that's alright. If it's easy, fine; that's much better for Uryuu.

It's just like using a needle. It's almost entirely the same.

He can almost smile.

A sword light as air can be wielded with ease. He might as well be plying stitches with a needle.
