Another Broken Heart
And she wonders how she got this way.
Her emerald eyes pierce like sharp striking daggers ripping through a poor soul.
She asks him to let go,
But she doesn't see the pain that shall soon a wait her fate.
So she sits.
Alone in the darkness of night,
She's so sick of the un useful breathing of her soul
And the un useful beating of her once and
Always broken heart.
The fragile heart of hers shatters,
And the endless pieces scatter across the cold ground that lay beneath her…
…Then,
She breaks down…
All the way down…
Now as she's standing alone along the sidewalk,
The tragedies are soon remembers in her bruised soul.
As the word "Beautiful" runs through her mind,
The bruises on her ego all but shine.
Each step she takes is suddenly silenced
As every word said loses its meaning.
And even though her heart dares to scream
"I love you",
The memories soon shall fade
All the way into the shade of darkness
That hides away the insecure pain of her heart…
And once again…
Another broken heart.
