I looked over him as he sat across the room from me. His blue silky feathers ruffled in the wind from the open windows. A soft smile on his beak. The only problem was that he was sitting with Margeret. What did he see in her? What about me? I was his buddy, his pal. Always there for him. And I had thought...he kinda liked me. But that was until Margeret asked him out, of course he says yes. He has loved her for a long time. A sigh escapes my mouth as I hold the book he picked out for me before Margeret came along. My dark raccoon tail curls around me and I longingly continue to stare at him. I look away when he catches me staring at him and glares slightly.

"Rigby." Mordecai glares now standing over me as I cower on the floor caressing the book against my chest.
"I... I didn't mean to stare, dude. I was seeing how you and Margeret l-look together." I reply pathetically. It sounded fake I know. But I'm not a good lier. "Rigby... Don't screw this up for me. She's one of the only people that have liked me back." Margeret gestures him torward herself and pats the spot next to her, smiling sweetly. "Gotta go, dude." He gives me a look that seemed like it had a bit of lust in it.
"Probably torwards Margeret" I mumble quietly to myself holding the book covering the bottom half of my face groaning quietly.
